Bellerive is quite a pretty suburb with good locations for photos.
Below are some images from Shenan’s and Kate’s pre-wedding shoot. Shenan and Kate are getting married in May and a pre-shoot is a great way to get to know them and to spend a short time going over a few things prior to their wedding.
The wedding pre-shoot was included in their wedding photography package and Shenan and Kate will get to keep the images from the day.
Richard and Deborah were married recently at Old Beach near Hobart, Tasmania.
The weather was great, the views fantastic but the ceremony was the best part of the day. It is always a great day regardless of everything else when two people make a commitment together for life.
My small part was the wedding photography and below are a few of the images I took on the day.
Stephen and Shannon were married on the hottest day of the year at Barilla Bay near Hobart, Tasmania.
38deg+ and the heat was really oppressive but the beautiful bride and groom and everyone else held up really well.
The highlight of the day, as always, was the ceremony and seeing two people in love and making a life changing commitment is always pleasing. Another highlight for me was right in the middle of the ceremony when two young children decided to play ring around the rosy. It was a great moment captured.
Troy and Dannielle were married recently at Beaches Restaurant, Seven Mile Beach near Hobart, Tasmania.
Rain was predicted but fortunately stayed away for a beautiful wedding on a lovely day.
The Bride arrived but there was no one to operate the boom gate so the Bride and four bridesmaids travelling in three beautifully restored old cars left for an alternate entry on the other side of the restaurant. This left me sprinting off across to meet them as they arrived.
After the ceremony and some group photos, the bride and groom and yours truly moved over to the car park to get some shots of the bridal party with the restored cars. The car park was composed of loose gravel and sure enough, I was backing up and lost my footing and over I went to great applause. Apart from that and with no damage done to myself or gear, it was a great day with a lovely couple which I was very pleased to capture.
Tristan and Alison were married at Avalon, a beautiful coastal retreat on the East Coast of Tasmania.
Perched high on a headland and overlooking Great Oyster Bay, Tristan and Alison exchanged their vows in one of the most beautiful locations available to get married.
I was there as a second photographer to Tony Lomas at Island26 photography. I always recommend two photographers for a wedding, it is such an important occasion and the memories will last a lifetime.
After the ceremony, we wandered down to the secluded beach to capture some beautiful photos of the bride and groom. There was a heavy overcast and the cool breeze was increasing in strength but fortunately the rain stayed away for the ceremony and following reception.
The bride and groom were beautiful on the day and it was a privilege to capture their special day.
